Keeping Tabs on your Medical Information
Do you remember the last time you had a Tetanus shot? If you don’t, you’re not alone. Having medical information such as vaccination records and check-ups are important to have at your finger tips.
A simple format to keep information organized in is a 3-ring binder. For the average family, without any major medical issues, one binder should be sufficient space to hold everyone’s records.
Using tab dividers, create a section for each member of your household. Keep the following information for each person:
Create a separate tabbed section to hold insurance statements and claims as well as medical bills you pay out of pocket. When it’s time to do your taxes, you can check your Medical Binder for any bills that might be deductible.
