- Preheat oven to 400F. In a large nonstick skillet cook ground beef and onion until meat is no longer pink. Remove from heat; let cool slightly.
- Stir in tomatoes, pizza sauce, eggs, and salt and pepper to taste.
- Sprinkle 1/2 cup of the Cheddar on the bottom of the pie shell. Top with meat mixture. Bake 30 minutes.
- Arrange mozzarella slices on top, cutting to fit. Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup Cheddar. Bake 5 minutes or until cheese melts. Remove from oven and let stand 10 minutes before serving.
