Grilled Shishkabobs

Grilling is all about the flavors, the sizzle and great tastes. Kabobs are an easy way to whip up a meal with everything in one package! One of our favorite grilling hacks!

  • 4 6 oz. chicken breast, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 1 onion, cut into large cubes
  • 2 cups baby portabella mushrooms, cut in half
  • 2 red peppers cut into large squares
  • 1 yellow pepper, cut into large squares
  • 8 large cherry tomatoes, whole

  1. If using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes. Otherwise metal skewers work great, just don’t burn your fingers!
  2. Once all of your ingredients are cut, arrange the skewers alternating ingredients securely onto the skewers.
  3. Make 4 skewers
  4. Coat once with BBQ sauce and marinate for 30 minutes or overnight.
  5. Use the BBQ sauce to baste while you are grilling.
  6. Grill until chicken is fully cooked. Check inside one piece to make sure meat is fully cooked.
