Grilled Turkey and Muenster Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 1/2 firm ripe avocado, pitted, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp. butter, softened
  • 4 slices pumpernickel bread
  • 1 tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 lb. sliced deli Muenster cheese
  • 1/3 lb. sliced deli smoked turkey

  1. Spread butter on 1 side of each bread slice. Spread mustard on the other side of 2 bread slices; top with avocado, cheese and turkey. Cover with remaining bread slices, buttered side up.
  2. Heat a heavy skillet over medium heat. Add sandwiches; cook 2 minutes per side or until toasted and cheese melts. Serve immediately.
