Multipurpose Peanut Sauce


  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • ¼ cup (more if needed to thin sauce) warm water
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1½ to 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • juice of 1 lime lime juice
  • 1 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Pinch cayenne pepper (optional)


  1. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl with a whisk. Add more water if needed to get to the right consistency. Adjust flavors and add cayenne if desired. Note: Feel free to use fresh ginger and garlic if preferred and adjust the amounts to your taste.
