- Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly coat a 2-quart baking dish with nonstick cooking spray; set aside. In a small bowl combine 1/3 cup sugar and cornstarch. In a large bowl combine berries, vanilla and cornstarch mixture until well blended. Spoon berry mixture into prepared baking dish; set aside.
- In a medium bowl combine flour, cornmeal mix, cinnamon and remaining sugar. Stir in butter and milk until smooth.
- Gently spread batter evenly over berry mixture. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center of topping comes out clean. Let stand five minutes. Serve warm with ice cream.
