The Single Best Grilled Bratwurst



  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 bottle (12 oz.) beer
  • 4 bratwurst
  • 4 pretzel sandwich rolls (6 inch), partially split
  • 4 tsp. GREY POUPON Harvest Coarse Ground Mustard
  • 4 KRAFT Singles


Prep Time
25 min.
  1. HEAT grill to medium heat.
  2. COOK and stir onions in hot oil in large skillet on medium -high heat 5 min. or until onions are golden brown; cover. Simmer on low heat 10 min., stirring occasionally.
  3. MEANWHILE, bring beer to boil in medium saucepan. Add bratwurst; cook 5 min. Drain. Grill 4 to 5 min. or until done (160ºF), turning occasionally.
  4. SPREAD cut sides of rolls with mustard; fill with bratwurst, Singles and onions.
  5. Substitute: Prepare using KRAFT Swiss Singles.
  6. Serving Suggestion: For added color and texture, serve with a mixed green salad tossed with your favorite KRAFT Light Dressing.
