Ingredients

  • 1 (16-oz.) can garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (15-oz.) can black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (15 1/4-oz.) can whole-kernel corn, drained
  • 1 medium red onion, chopped
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, seeded and chopped
  • 2 tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 tsp. chopped jalapeño pepper*
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tsp. fresh lime juice

  1. In a large bowl stir together beans, corn, onion, bell peppers, cilantro, jalapeño and cumin. Gently stir in barbecue sauce and lime juice. Cover and refrigerate 2 to 24 hours before serving.
