- In a medium saucepan cook and stir cornstarch and lemon-lime soda over medium heat. Bring to boiling; boil about 2 minutes or until clear. Remove from heat; stir in granulated sugar and gelatin until smooth. Let stand to cool until thickened but not set.
- Place strawberries in pie shell. Pour gelatin mixture over strawberries. Cover and refrigerate 2 hours.
- Meanwhile, in a medium bowl beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar and milk with an electric mixer on medium speed until fluffy. Fold in whipped topping. Spread over strawberry mixture in pie shell. Cover and refrigerate 2 to 4 hours more or until set. Cut into wedges, and serve.
