Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup bottled sesame-ginger marinade
  • 3 tbsp. finely chopped green onion
  • 3 tbsp. chopped cilantro (optional)
  • 1 large clove garlic, minced (optional)
  • 3/4 tsp. ground ginger
  • 2 (3 1/2x5x1-inch) slices deli roast beef
  • 15 medium whole mushrooms, halved (about 9 oz.)
  • 1 large red bell pepper, seeded, cut into 30 pieces
  • 10 deli potato wedges, cut into thirds
  • 30 skewers

  1. Combine marinade, green onion, cilantro and garlic (if desired), and ginger in large resealable plastic bag. Add beef, mushrooms, bell pepper and potato. Seal bag; toss gently to coat. Refrigerate at least 3 hours, up to 8 hours.
  2. Preheat broiler. Remove beef and vegetables from marinade; cut beef into 30 cubes. Thread 1 beef cube, mushroom half, potato piece and pepper piece onto each skewer. Place on foil-lined baking sheet.
  3. Broil 4 to 6 inches from heat 10 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned, turning once or twice.
