- Preheat oven to 375°F. Coat a 3-quart baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.
- In a large skillet cook and stir ground beef over medium-high heat until browned. Drain fat. Stir in Italian dressing, marinara, tomatoes and green beans. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, about 5 minutes or until most of the liquid has evaporated. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Transfer to prepared baking dish.
- Meanwhile, prepare mashed potatoes according to package directions using milk. Stir in bacon bits, ranch salad dressing, and green onions. Spread potato mixture over beef mixture in baking dish; sprinkle with cheese. Bake, uncovered, about 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and mixture is bubbly. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
